Revitalized

There was an old comforter at the cabin that was truly worn out. When we were there the last time, my sisters were ready to throw it away. This corner is actually in better shape than most of it was.

I objected to throwing it away because that was the one cover I always hunted for when I was there in the winter. It was by far the warmest one in spite of the holes it had.

I brought it along home with the intention of recovering it eventually. Last week I went to the Grand Opening of Goodville Fabric Outlet and bought seven yards of fleece. pieced it together and stuck it in a frame in one bay of the garage.

This evening we finished the knotting. I have to bind it, but that will wait until it is cooler. It is too warm these days to sit with that thing on my lap while I am hemming it. It will still be the warmest cover at the cabin when it returns.
