Keeping Score
Last fall the principal asked me if I would be interested in coaching a quiz team this year. He knew that I liked going to the quizzes whenever I had half a chance, but I had never coached before. I told him that I would be interested, but I didn't know anything about coaching. He promised that he would give me a team of quizzers who knew what they were doing and they could teach me.

We started quiz practices and eventually I got my team of three senior guys. They were self-motivated and knew how to quiz. They memorized Acts 13-20 and were all able to quote the entire passage in one sitting with almost no errors--that is about 300 verses! I learned a lot from them and had fun with them.
We were the THMH Adventurers.
There were seven other teams from THMH: Encouragers, Vision, Divers, Lights, Earthquakers, Glorified, and, of course, the Confused.

it was fun coaching at retreat with you. And you did a good job as coach. Hope it works out for you to coach next year as well!
